Professional Standards

Filing an Anonymous Complaint
This procedure allows agents to file a complaint without identifying themselves as the complainant In the section provided for "Complainant" on form D-1 (Form (D-1) simply write Anonymous. Below are some other tips to assist you in filing a complaint.

In filling out the form, please note the following:

  • Write in the name(s) of the respondent (the person against whom the complaint is made). You MAY include the name of the Responsible Broker or Participant for an alleged violation of the Code of Ethics and/or violation of the MLS Rules & Regulations.
  • Be sure to specify which violation(s) of the Code of Ethics or Section(s) of the MLS Rules and Regulations you are citing. In identifying the item(s) please read the Articles carefully. Place the Article or Section number(s) in the proper space.
  • Once all the necessary information is received by the Association, it will be reviewed by the Grievance Committee and possibly forwarded to a hearing.
